Delays in delivering email notifications

We are currently experiencing a delay in delivering emails to clients.  These emails include fax notifications, sign up emails, forgot password emails, and 2 factor authentication emails.

This issue will not impact sending or receiving faxes and there will be no loss in fax data.

Technical resources are actively working on this issue.

 

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved and normal email delivery has been restored.

Outbound Delays/Busy Signal

Canadian Customers may be experiencing outbound delays/Busy Signal, We are aware of the situation and are currently investigating.

Update 3/08/2024 15:10 Pacific: Fiber cut reported in B.C. Carrier techs are onsite investigating the cut. No ETA for repair at this time.

Update 3/08/2024 23:20 Pacific: Carrier began work on splicing cut fiber at 20:00 but wet conditions are causing repair work to take longer than expected.

Update 3/09/2024 13:35 Pacific: Issue with circuit has been fixed and calls were sending successfully as of 11:30.

SRFax is currently experiencing higher then normal volumes for traffic so inbound faxing may be delayed.

We are currently experiencing inbound delays. Our engineering team is investigating. 

**UPDATE**

The backlog of inbound faxes has been cleared and normal operation has resumed.  There were no transmission delays or data loss during this backlog, only a delay in the notification of an inbound fax.

Inbound Notification Delays

We are currently experiencing inbound notification delays up to 30 mins.

We have our engineering team looking into it.

*Update*

The backlog of inbound has been resolved and fax delivery has returned to normal.  There was no loss of data and the delay was only with the processing of inbound faxes onto accounts.

1/2/24 4:10 PM PST: Backlog has been processed. Incident is continuing to be monitored and investigated. 

1/2/24 1:30 PM PST: Error completion rates have returned to normal we will continue to monitor, We also will need to process the backlog from today's traffic.

1/2/24 9:03 AM PST: We have been able to determine the issue is with a third party carrier, the issue does appear to be clearing up, If you are still experiencing the issue please reach out to our support team.

Update 14:19 pm Pacific: We believe we have the issue resolved, Please re-try your faxes if you had encountered the bad tiff error message from before. 

Prev Post 13:15 Pm Pacific:We are currently investigating an outbound fax error "Bad Tiff" that customers may be receiving when sending outbound faxes.

We are currently investigating an issue where there are some delays in receiving faxes to customers accounts up to 25 mins,

We are currently trying to clear up the backlog this should roughly take around 2-3 hrs.
